What power there is in 10 years of giving!

CHILD is celebrating our 10 year anniversary, and what better way to do that than taking a look at the extraordinary things our partners have been up to!

We invite you to watch 3 short videos that highlight each of our current partners in India, Haiti, and South Africa. The difference they make in their communities is more than amazing, and we are so thrilled to have you take part in their work again this year!

We are asking you to join us as we hope to raise $70,000! This is our biggest fall fundraiser goal yet, but amazingly an anonymous donor has pledged to match 100% of the donations for this fundraiser! So every dollar you give is now doubled, which makes $100 into $200, just like that!

Metropolitan Mission School and Children’s Home in India​

CHILD has been partnering with Metropolitan Mission in India since 2011, so it is the 10th anniversary of our partnership with them as well! MM runs a school and children’s home, helps provide for the needs of the outcasts in their community, and also provides relief to those going through a variety of natural disaster situations.
This year we are fundraising for items such as:
  • Rice and protein rich food for the School and Children’s Home
  • Agricultural Supplies
    • Tractor
    • Water Buffalos
    • Chickens
You can supply rice for one child for one year for only $160, or purchase part of the tractor or all of it for $9000! MM has some land that they are looking to cultivate and farm to help them become more self-sufficient. Food prices in India have increased significantly over the past few years, so having a reliable source of food would be very beneficial.

Haiti Children’s Home Nutrition Program​

Since 2017, CHILD has been partnering with Haiti Children’s Home to support their nutrition program. This program reaches out to families with severely malnourished children and helps get them back to health by providing medical check-ups and nutritional supplements. This allows children to stay with their families instead of having the children given up to an orphanage to get proper nutrition. You can help treat one child with severe malnutrition by donating $100, enough for 150 Medika Mamba peanut bars!​

SAHARA in South Africa​

SAHARA is CHILD’s newest partnership, which started just last year in 2020. SAHARA runs a free substance-use disorder treatment program for low-income adults and teens. They provide the support needed for long-term change through addressing mental, physical, and social needs. CHILD funds medications used alongside the group counseling program which is run by SAHARA's trained medical and counseling team. Medications are provided free of charge to service users struggling with tobacco, alcohol, and drugs.
​For just $290, you can help change the life of someone struggling with substance use disorder and provide the health benefits and increased confidence medication can give. SAHARA’s program is changing the face of the community, bringing support to those who are hurting and allowing service users and those they love to have hope for the future!​
